Our October meeting fell on Halloween night this year. We braved the ghouls and witches to talk about Jaguars:
Apologies from a few regulars reduced our turnout a little for the monthly meeting. It was good to catch up, though, and talk about cars and related matters.
The days are getting shorter, but the Jaguar driving season isn’t quite over yet. Items we discussed at the Kingsley Hotel:
It was 23 degrees centigrade, with the sun shining down the Lee valley towards us in the Kingsley Hotel on the last Wednesday in June. All the doors were open in the hotel to keep things cool, and there was a lazy, summery atmosphere that suited our mood. I’m just recording all of this now, because chances are in a week we won’t be able to believe that we actually had a summer…
We had a few things to talk about:
It seems like a while since we met, but we couldn’t have picked a nicer evening to catch up, with the setting sun shining down the River Lee and temperatures of 17 degrees plus. Summer has definitely arrived! Hopefully it doesn’t leave as quickly…
The Kingsley Hotel was buzzing on a bright April evening for our monthly meeting:
A small group turned out (must be the time of the year!). Items discussed:
- Discussion of numbers and arrangements for Emo trip.
- Update from John O’Driscoll on plans with Jaguar Heritage to bring an interesting car to the Classic Car Show in Dublin in July.
