Welcome to new meeting attendee, Pat, who joined us for the February club meeting with news of his restored Mk2. We are always happy to see new faces, whether of prospective members or returning members.
- Pat’s car looked fantastic in the photos that he had, having been the subject of much TLC. The images prompted much discussion and stories of work people had done on their cars.
- We talked about the first planned event of the year – the day trip to Doneraile on Saturday 4th April. The suggestion was to meet at 9:30am in Christy’s Hotel in Blarney to go to Doneraile, do the tour of the house, look around the grounds if the weather is in our favour, and go to lunch possibly in Kildorrery, to finish by around 3:30pm.
- Forms to participate in the IJDC 40th anniversary event on the 2nd-3rd May are due to be returned now.
- Work is underway in the background on bringing a Jaguar Heritage car to the show in Dublin in July. So we’re expecting a positive outcome on that front.
